The Future of The Lighted Way Fellowship

Recently, huge developments have occurred! We have proposed a plan to the Parks Board of Minneapolis and are in the beginning phases of the process and possibility of bringing an incredible spiritual Centre to the heart of Minneapolis located on Mother Mississippi. Read the following passage that was initially presented to the Board!

In the words of John Lennon’s song Imagine,

Imagine all the people living life in peace
You, you may say
I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one
I hope some day you’ll join us
And the world will be as one

We are dreaming of a Pyramid of Peace made of glass on the sacred grounds of Nicollet Island centered in the rushing river, of our beloved Mississippi. This will be a place of healing, meditation, inclusiveness, beauty, dancing and music.

A Pyramid of Peace dedicated to the high level of spirituality of all people who live on our planet now, who have lived here before us, and will live here in the future. This Pyramid of Peace will revere the native cultures of our past and be a monument for the future of the cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul as we are all connected by the mother of many rivers.

Like the Statue of Liberty for New York and the Arch of St. Louis, this will be a piece of beautiful iconic architecture as a luminous Wonder that can be seen from the night sky. The Pyramid of Peace will be much more than a building and its grounds on Nicollet Island. It will be a key and interactive place that celebrates the life of the infinite Mother and all.

We imagine beautiful gardens utilizing Minnesota’s native plants and flowers, walkways utilizing our native stone, natural fountains and sculptures as designed by Cliff Garten. Cliff, an internationally known and award winning sculptor, was a Professor at Hamline who then went on to receive his Master of Landscape Architecture with Distinction, in the Graduate School of Design from Harvard University.
Cliff Garten has already agreed to design the Pyramid of Peace and he uses architecture, landscape and engineering to create as he describes, the…”possibility of a public expression through the conscious design and integration of art.” He understands the mystical qualities of Nicollet Island and the importance of it.
The existing outdoor amphitheater will be revitalized for performances.

In addition we envision the current pavilion will house positive commerce to enhance the area. A juice/tea/coffee bar, a retail book and crystal store for artisans. Healers of various modalities: massage, acupuncture, energy work, essential oil therapy and readers, as East meets West for integrated wellness.

We are the Lighted Way Fellowship, a 501(C) 3 non-profit based in Minnesota. Originally founded in 1966 in Los Angeles. More information is available at our website
Our focus is to provide a positive environment of Peace, Light and Love by encouraging people to open up to their Higher Inner Nature so that they may elevate their own Soul growth and expansion.

Currently, we have been accomplishing these goals, by hosting meditations, psychic fairs, classes and workshops featuring for example, a Tibetian Bowl master who trained in Nepal, Sukyo Mahakari, a light giving group founded in Japan, the creator of the LifeBottle, based on Dr. Emoto’s water structure work, Mikel Winge, the handwriting expert who has shared his skills for 30 years at St. Anthony Main and Riverplace. Shamans from Siberia, Australia, and the Americas have shared valuable traditions at our events.

The building of the Pyramid of Peace on Nicollet Island will be accomplished with public and private partnerships.

Thank you, we would love to address any questions.
